What size should I buy?

Not sure what size to grab? No worries!

Each product includes a size guide as the last image in the photo carousel. We’ve personally measured every piece to ensure it’s as accurate as possible, so you can shop with confidence!

Can I cancel my order?

We totally get that minds can change!

You can cancel your order within 1 hour of placing it—just shoot us a quick message.

After that, we start processing to make sure your order ships out ASAP!

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Do you offer free returns?

Yes! We offer free returns on all orders because we want you to love what you wear. Just make sure to return within 20 days of delivery, and the item is unworn and in its original condition.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days and shipped via standard shipping, which takes 3-5 business days.

You’ll get a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way!

Do you ship overseas?

Thank you so much for your interest in HeyLou! At this time, we don’t offer international shipping, but we’re always exploring ways to expand. Stay tuned for future updates!

Are your products sustainable?

Many of our pieces are made from eco-friendly, non-plastic materials and sourced from the Midwest. However, we believe in being transparent—some of our inventory isn’t fully sustainable yet, but we’re working towards that goal every day.

To make sustainable shopping easier, you can browse by collection:

  • Eco-Friendly Pieces: Made with 90%+ non-plastic materials, combining natural fibers and thoughtful craftsmanship.
  • Solid Effort: Eco-friendly pieces made with 50-90% natural fibers.
  • Made In The Midwest 🌾: These items didn’t travel far to get to Kansas City
Where are your clothes made?

We source as much as possible from the Midwest and love featuring local KC designers in every collection.

That said, some items come from outside the region as we continue to refine our sourcing process to stay true to our mission.

How do I care for my HeyLou pieces?

We recommend cold washing on a gentle cycle and air drying to keep your items looking fresh and lasting longer.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! You can purchase HeyLou gift cards in various amounts—perfect for when you want to give the gift of style without the guesswork.
